A L E X I S + L E E

I have been itching to get this blog up and now finally here I am sat with 5 minutes to myself to tell you all about this beautiful wedding.

A few months back I had a phone call from a fellow named Lee to discuss his wedding here on Anglesey at the end of July. I went through the formalities with him, asked him where he was getting married - St Cwyfans - tiny squee - but don't sound too excited... so I named my price and he said he had a few more photographers to contact and he would get Alex to get in touch. To be honest, I didn't think I'd got the gig at all! But here I am, telling you all about it!!

So Alex called and we set up a meeting and their Engagement shoot behind the beautiful Oyster Catcher where they would be having their reception after the wedding. You can see this shoot here: https://www.emberwoodcreative.com/single-post/2017/05/09/Lee-Alexis---Engagement-Shoot

The outcome of that shoot was so beautiful I was even more excited to do the wedding, what with Alex's big beaming smile to capture!

The day soon approached and at 3pm on July 29th I was stood on a very windy beach awaiting the tide to go out and for the Groom to arrive. The day was beautiful, I had been on pins all week hoping it was going to be good weather, never mind the wind we can work with that! We could even work with rain, but I wanted it to be perfect for Alex and Lee.

The Groom arrived with his handsome entourage and we had some fun and took some group shots, the ladies arrived all wearing wellies!! The bridal party in pink and looked fabulous! Everyone headed over to the island ahead of Alex's arrival, where a surprise choir were waiting inside the church for her too!

Alex arrived fashionably late (required as a bride at a wedding may I add - nothing to add a bit of nerves to the groom ha-ha) with her bridesmaids and flowers girls in tow. And wow, how stunning she was in a beautiful lace dress and sparkling tiara in her hair. Quick switch to wellies and we were off!

The rest of the day went without a hitch, beautiful readings, a stunning voice brought everyone to tears, the gorgeous little ring bearer and the cheery vicar followed by prosecco and celebrations! I hope you love the photographs of this day as much as we do!
